Inside Fergie and Josh Duhamel’s tumultuous romance as they split after 13 years together.
Fergie (the singer) and Josh Duhamel (the actor whose delicious name has the word “ham” in it), have let the world know that they’re splitting up after eight years of marriage.
Per Us Weekly, Fergie is defined as “the ‘You Already Know’ singer” (a song that just came out and which no one knows yet), and Duhamel is “the Transformers actor” and nothing more. Their joint statement is brief and cordial:
“With absolute love and respect, we decided to separate as a couple earlier this year. To give our family the best opportunity to adjust, we wanted to keep this a private matter before sharing it with the public. We are and will always be united in our support of each other and our family.”
It was nice that they loved each other legally for as long as they did. The couple has one child together, Axl, who’s 4. Incidentally, there were rumors that Fergie was pregnant again, but she told 103.5, “I have no idea what’s in the future,” which was somewhat bypassing the truth. What is soon to be birthed is Fergie’s long-delayed visual album, Double Dutchess.
