Jordan has joined the ranks of countries that have given Battlegrounds the boot.
According to Slash Gear, Jordan’s ban was because of a Telecommunications Regulatory Commission claim that argued an “in-depth study” had proven that PUBG had a negative impact on society.
The country’s officials backed up their claim with the World Health Organisation’s controversial designation of a “legitimate” condition branded “gaming disorder”.
Furthermore, Jordan is also said to have been the recipient of a dozen complaints from citizens about the so-called negative impacts caused by PUBG and Fortnite.
Jordan has announced that they are considering a ban against six other video games with Fortnite at the top of the pecking order, and the impending exile is currently viewed as a matter of when rather than if.
Fortunately for us UK gamers, Prince Harry hasn’t followed-up on his desire to ban Fortnite after he lost a slew of matches and threw his toys out the pram.
