Google Maps and Google Earth have photographed something many believe to be a UFO.
A mysterious shape in the middle of a field has sparked questions.
Situated in Australia at coordinates 30°30’38.44″S 115°22’56.03″E is a large triangle with bright lights evenly placed around it.
The triangle has baffled and excited UFO enthusiasts since it was first discovered in 2007.
Many were quick to claim it was a “triangle UFO” which had been captured hovering above Earth.
However, there may be a less spooky explanation for the shape.
Some think it is an antenna that forms part of a nearby remote-controlled wind farm.
With three sets of wires forming the triangle shape, and a tower in the middle, the antenna likely receives and transmits control signals.
This is not the only unexplained sighting on Google Maps. The tool appeared to have uncovered a UFO landing site – but it was found to be something else instead.
Eagle-eyed viewers have also spotted something very confusing in Poland.
Many thought it could confirm that aliens exist.
Spotted in Krakow, Poland, a huge base with round domed huts appears next to a road.
Some think it may be a UFO landing pad, confirming that aliens do exist.
On closer inspection, it is revealed that it isn’t actually anything to do with aliens at all.
It is instead the Alvernia Studios, used for films, as well as features for video games and music projects.
Whilst no well-known UK films have emerged from the studios, some include US thriller Arbitrage, with Richard Gere and Susan Sarandon, as well as comedy Vamps, with Alicia Silverstone and Krysten Ritter.
